This is under Section 20, Article Ill of Republic Act No. 11052, otherwise known as the “Philippine Food Technology Act” provides for the issuance of Certificates of Registration and Professional Identification Cards to qualified applicants without taking the prescribed licensure examination. The Professional Regulatory Board of Food Technology (Board) has also issued Resolution No 02 (s 2022), or the “Operational Guidelines on the Registration Without Examination of Professional Food Technologists” Resolution No. 09 (s. 2022), or the “Clarifications on the Operational Guidelines on the Registration Without Examination of Professional Food Technologists, and Resolution No. 10 (s. 2023), or the “Additional Clarifications on the Operational Guidelines on the Registration Without Examination of Professional Food Technologists.”
