The Scientific Advisory Group (SAG) of FMA 7 conducted its First Quarter Meeting on April 05, 2024 via Google Meet. Sectoral representatives from the Academe, NGO, NGAs and Commercial Sector were present during the meeting.

 

The agenda included the presentation of SAG Accomplishment for F.Y. 2023, SAG activities for F.Y. 2024, Re-evaluation of FMA 7 Harvest Control Rules (HCR), Review of the Organizational Structure among others.

 

The National Stock Assessment Program of Regions 4A, 5 and 8 were requested to present their available data on the different mesh size of net and length of panels used by the fishers within the FMA 7.
