RD Ariel Pioquinto underscored the government’s interest in observing the direct impact of government projects on the beneficiaries. He said that the meeting serves as a guideline to provide direction and clarity on all necessary actions to achieve the desired outcomes for the beneficiaries of the 62-footer boat. He stressed that everyone must be actively involved in formulating policies, and collaboration is essential in advancing this program.
 
Similarly, Atty. Nilo B. Consuelo, Chief of the Production Division, emphasized BFAR’s commitment to ensuring the sustainability of such projects, not only for long term utilization but also for the conservation of resources. He also highlighted that the bureau aims to continue benefiting new recipients with similar projects in the years to come and expects recipient organizations to maintain operational efficiency through the provided projects.
 
Ms. Marietta Calacal, Field Operations Manager of WWF in Lagonoy Gulf, narrated fisherfolk benefits in aligning with government initiatives and projects. She further added that, after a decade of advocating for resource sustainability, this project represents the culmination of their efforts.
